Outdoor kitchens are a great idea - until the plumbing becomes an afterthought. We see it all the time. Someone builds a beautiful outdoor space, and the water and gas connections are either skipped entirely or done in a way that creates headaches down the road. That's not how we do things.
On this one, we ran water lines out to the sink and a new gas line with a tee added specifically for the grill. Both shutoff valves are installed and accessible, so turning off water or gas is simple and safe. No hunting around for a main shutoff in an emergency. That detail alone is worth it.
Here's something a lot of people don't think about - what happens to those water lines when winter hits. We graded the lines back toward the utility room so the whole system can be drained before freezing temperatures arrive. It's a small thing during installation, but it saves you from burst pipes and a major repair bill later.
The interior rough-in work tells the same story. Clean runs of PEX water lines and black ABS drain pipe routed through the framing, keeping everything organized and properly supported before walls close in. This is the kind of work you never see once the project is finished, but it's what determines whether the system holds up for years or starts causing problems.
Whether you're starting from scratch on an outdoor kitchen or adding on to an existing space, getting the plumbing right from the beginning matters. We handle the water lines, gas lines, and all the details in between so your outdoor setup is built to last.
