Here's what we were working with - open framing, exposed rough-in plumbing, and a shower space stripped down to the studs. Not the prettiest starting point, but it's exactly the kind of blank slate that lets us do the job right from the ground up.

When the walls are open, nothing is hidden. That's actually a good thing. We can see exactly how the plumbing is routed, make sure every connection is solid, and set the new valve in the right position before anything gets closed up. We installed a Moen pressure-balancing valve here, which is the kind of hardware worth spending money on. It keeps water temperature consistent and protects against sudden pressure shifts - the kind of thing that matters every single day.

Once the rough-in was set and the walls were closed, we fitted the new shower unit and hung the sliding glass door with brushed nickel framing. The built-in corner shelving on the surround is a nice practical touch - no extra hardware needed, just a clean, functional space. The rain showerhead and handheld combo give you real flexibility without cluttering up the wall.

This is the kind of bathroom renovation work we do regularly. It's not just about swapping fixtures - it's about getting the plumbing infrastructure right so the finished product actually holds up. A Moen valve installed correctly is something you won't have to think about for years.

What ends up in front of you is a shower that looks sharp and works the way it should. No leaks hiding behind the walls, no shortcuts in the framing, no questionable valve that'll give out in two years. Just a solid bathroom upgrade done the right way.
