Old pump setups don't always fail dramatically. Sometimes they just slowly get worse - losing pressure, cycling too often, or just looking like they've been held together with hope and old fittings. That's exactly the kind of situation we walked into on this South Jordan job.

The existing setup was a patchwork of galvanized pipe, corroded fittings, and aging hardware that had clearly been patched and re-patched over the years. Galvanized pipe has a lifespan, and when it starts corroding from the inside out, you're fighting a losing battle. No amount of repairs on a system like that will give you reliable, consistent performance.

We pulled the old system out and built a clean, properly configured pump setup from scratch. New PVC lines, proper unions for future serviceability, a quality pump motor, and a sediment filter on the inlet side to protect the new equipment. Everything tied together neatly and mounted solid. The difference between a rushed pump swap and a well-thought-out install is exactly this - taking the time to do it right so it actually lasts.

A pump system touches a lot of things. Irrigation, water pressure, overall flow to the property. When it's working well, you don't think about it. When it isn't, it becomes a daily headache. Our goal on every job like this is to make it something the homeowner never has to think about again.

If your pump is struggling, making noise it didn't used to make, or just looks like the setup in that before photo - it's worth a conversation. We handle pump installs and water line work throughout South Jordan and the surrounding areas.
